Paulie (1998) - Family


he entire family will enjoy this warm and funny film about a wisecracking parrot that can say a whole lot more than "Paulie want a cracker" and goes on a cross-country adventure to be reunited with the little girl who raised him. Jay Mohr lends his voice to the lovable little bird (and also has a human role); with Hallie Kate Eisenberg, Cheech Marin, Bruce Davison.

A Place For Annie - True Story (Drama)


A Place For Annie is one of those special films that takes a very sensitive subject like AIDS and does justice too it. Absolutely outstanding performances by Sissy Spacek, Mary-Louise Parker, Joan Plowright and Jack Noeworthy. Annie is a baby with the AIDS virus who is sent to a local hospital in which Sissy Spacek works as an RN. When the child is going to be sent off to die elsewhere, she decides to care for Annie herself, with the help of Joan Plowright's character. The mother of the child, now clean for 6 months, decides to come after the child. A powerful story of love.

Shrooms 2007 - Horror


When five American college students arrive in Ireland to go on a camping trip with their old college buddy Jake, they are in high spirits. Jake has promised them the "trip of a lifetime" because he claims Ireland has the best magic mushrooms in the world. It sounded like it would be great fun. Now that they are tripping things don't seem so funny.

Should I smoke Dope ?



Journalist Nicky Taylor travels to Amsterdam to investigate the growing debate about the legal classification of cannabis. While there she helpsout in a coffee shop that sells the drug, and discovers first hand what the effects of cannabis are on everyday life. Back in the UK Nicky finds out about the genetically modified cannabis skunk, cheap and increasingly sold on the streets. The programme asks whether the drug can make you mad, if it is worse than alcohol and if it is stronger than it used to be.Nicky takes part in a month-long medical trial to find out.
